"People, we do not have enough content to justify an entire issue. My life has been so saturated with activity and chaos lately that I haven't had more than an hour to sit at my computer per week -- so this is partly my fault... but if you've got anything to send in, the deadline has been extended to August 10th.
"If you have it, send it."
Okay, the account is created! It's under:
I actually snagged Orpheus as the name, so no confusion as to what's what. The GM's name is: Josephine Wolff. My account name on rpol.net is: Abydos641
I'll see about flipping through my books and setting up some preliminary posts tonight/tomorrow. In the meantime, everyone go through your books and pick out what you'd like to play. All spirits are welcome except Organ Grinders, cause they require a bit more involvement in their creation. However, if you would like to play a grinder drop me a line, and if you have a good backstory and strong case for it, then hell, all's a go.
I'm really looking for interesting characters. They don't have to be 100 percent unusual never before seen, but just something you'd really enjoy playing. That alone is enough.
You can design knowing full well that Orpheus exists, and working for them (either many years, recently recruited, etc.) or you can create a character that knows nothing of Orpheus, and is scared as hell cause weird shit keeps happening. All ages are okay (I happen to like diversity, so a 60+ character or an 8 year old is fine by me) and use the stains, dementations, and so forth to full effect.
We are only as bright as the shadow we cast.
It might take a week to get this game off the ground, so take the time to really think about your character. I want this to be fun, involved, and terrifying.

clover4: Online RP
To those that where interested, now the big question, what sort of forum do you want to use?
Yahoo Clubs/Groups is what I used in past, but the advertisement are rather painful on the eyes. Would anyone object to livejournal? It has no annoying ads, and allows for long posts (with images).
If anyone has any suggestions, or knows of any good sites to host RPs (not for chatting purposes, this is a post by play only) please let me know.
The way I'd run it:
No dice, just friendly moderation of actions and interraction. It works rather well, when the players are mature and not trying to be all godly. The storyteller is the godly bit, and might throw an oddity in here or there, but nothing so outrageous a character wouldn't be able to handle it.
Above all, I believe in fun in a game. A good game, but an enjoyable one. If it ever becomes a burden to RP, a chore, then it's not worth doing.
If LJ's okay with people, I can see about setting up a community. Oh, and if anyone wants to catch me online, my screenname is:
I own all of the Orpheus books, so if anyone wants to make a character, and is a tad curious about what's beyond the first hardcover, I'd be happy to help.
There are a few things that I changed/treat differently from the main book, and it seems to work a lot better, such as making manifestation an act of will, instead of blowing vitality to do it. Lil things like that.

clover4: Online RP
Would anyone be interested in an online RP?
I've been aching for a good Orpheus game lately, and there is absolutely no one in my area willing to play anything that isn't point smash DnD.
Unless anyone here lives in the tri-state area, I'd be willing to start up and run an online Orpheus game of signifigant quality. By quality, I mean posts that consist of more than three sentences, and more plot that "thar be diamonds in them mines!"
I dunno, it was a thought I had. Wondering if anyone else was pining for a bit of game.
Okay, everybody. We're really low on content this time around, so please. Send in what you have.
An example of the infinite diversity of Orpheus Group projectors, quoted for posterity from an Orpheus
game today run by the beautiful safti
"I'm not going to let them cryo-freeze my body until I'm at least
sober enough to find my way out of my own car."
thought it was funny.
Okay, everybody! Send in your goodies! You have 15 days!
Okay, everybody. If you look at the Articles page of the Project, you'll see that every issue starting in June will have a theme. This issue's theme happens to be Orpheus
The Wraith Project doesn't have nearly enough Orpheus
material, so this time around, I'd like it if everyone could submit something in that vein. Sample Missions, Horrors, characters, new Laments & Shades, maybe some new Spectres, or artwork even...
...because dammit, we like Orpheus
So, who's interested in doing something?
I know *I* willl probably send in a thing or two. How about you?
